My name is Lana and I will help you to set up appointments and fill out your paperwork; answer your questions; welcome you with my big smile when you come in the office and you leave. I’ll offer you refreshment or snack and remember your birthday.
My official title sounds dry, I’m a “Office manager
and Patient
Coordinator” ,
but I love my job.
Dr. Vistitsky is a “miracle worker”, that what our patients named him.
He helps patients who once entered our office being in pain and unhappy, now are full of life, smiling and much improved quality of life. If I would choose my mission in life, I can honestly say, changing people’s lives makes me happy.
But it wasn’t always this way.
Before serving in health care field, I graduated from National Louis University and worked as software engineer and project manager for 8 years for big names like Anderson Consulting, Sear Co., CTA and Chicago Public Schools. But my desire to help people and to assist my husband encouraged me to change my career.
My life presented me new opportunities to learn office management, medical billing and rehabilitation assistance. Plus now, I am a licensed x-ray technician, certified yoga and fitness instructor. Just recently earned Level 1 Running Coach Certification and I am looking forward to teaching my patients and friends to enjoy injury free running techniques.
Since my kids are in college, I spend my free time teaching yoga and spin (cycling) classes, working out and racing triathlons.
